In just it’s first year of production, Morsekode’s Brand Motion group captured a Gold Aster award, Specialty Video Production, for UnitedHealthcare’s Storytellers video series and Web site (www.uhc.com/storytellers). The MN AMA Focus 5 microsite (www.focus5.org) and animated videos received an Award of Distinction from the Communicators Awards.
“These awards are a testament to our driving beliefs that great work stems from our belief that smart strategy and great creative work are not an either/or proposition,” said Mark Morse, Executive Creative Director.
Of the Storytellers win, Diane Slayton, Senior Marketing Director at UnitedHealthcare, says, “Their creativity and insightful approach brought the seed of an idea to life in a very believable and compelling manner. MK captured an additional Silver Aster award for it’s direct mail work for UnitedHealthcare Pharmaceutical Solutions group. Other Communicator Award of Distinction winners were print advertising campaigns for Digidesign – Raise Your Level, Audio-Technica – Experience More, The Salvation Army – Ignore No More and Ritchie YELLOW JACKET – You Don’t Know Jacket.

Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images, Inc host the Aster Awards, one of the largest competitions of its kind. This elite national program recognizes outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts.
