Morsekode Recognized for Design Excellence

November 15th, 2011

Modern creative agency Morsekode proudly announces today they’ve been recognized in the 2011 Regional Design Annual for PRINT Magazine, a bi-monthly publication focusing on visual culture and design, for the MK Calendar Cards.

“It’s nice to be applauded for doing something well,” said Morsekode Principal and Executive Creative Director Mark Morse. “Especially from a design powerhouse like PRINT.”

An annual piece Morsekode distributes to clients and vendors – the calendar cards incorporated phrases (only those fit-to-print) heard around the Morsekode offices with desk-size, letter-pressed calendars, each month headed by custom letterform of the first letter of each featured phrase. An audio file housed on the Morsekode website also gave calendar card recipients the option to hear the phrase in-use.

Said Paul Afong, Morsekode creative director, “Each year we try to do something that will catch people’s attention. Something we’re proud of and invites people into our culture.”

The regional design annual is a highly anticipated collection of art and design from around the country. Winning entries will be featured in the November/December issue. Learn more about the competition and see how Morsekode does at www.printmag.com.
